Replex (Repetitive Flex) is designed as a durable outdoor deck chair that will give your outdoor space a modern appeal.

 

The whole chair is designed to be CNC routed out of 2 sheets of plywood and be organised as a flat pack for mass manufacturing.

 

With the use of simple friction joints each piece is efficiently slotted together without any screws or adhesives. This gives it the ability to be taken apart and easily packaged for shipping. The 23 slats are made from 8mm flexi plywood, which have enough strength to hold the user but also flex when they sit down. The flex effect creates comfort as the slats wrap around the user.

 

The faces of the plywood are treated with a black veneer which contrasts well with the layering on the sides of the plywood . The colour on the sides is customisable to suit the customers needs. Overall its simplistic, rugged look makes it the perfect outdoor chair.
